The perception of colour depends on individual experience. But colour plays such an integral part in our emotions and in our perception of a scene. Traditionalists may not hold with this level of manipulation, but does anyone object to black-and-white photography? That is surely the greatest manipulation of all, and it has been at the heart of photography since its very beginning.
